Thelma Muro-Dittes - Principal
Thelma Muro-Dittes is a professional with almost 20 years of experience in the world of Real Estate Development and Architecture. Her professional qualifications include all aspects of Architectural Design and a comprehensive understanding of the building process, including Programming, Entitlement, Site Analysis, Conceptual Design, Construction Documents and Construction Administration.
As Project Manager and Owner’s Representative, she has been an integral part of large developments in the United States, Mexico, China, and Singapore. Thelma’s emphasis on quality project management assures clients that the project will meet its schedule and budget while maintaining the integrity of the design and use intent. Her experience as both a Designer and Developer, maintains a leveled interest on all sides of the project equation, Design, Cost and Use, through the coordination of feasibility studies, governmental processing, design development and constructability. Thelma’s proficiency with consultant coordination on complex large-scale projects has guided many clients through the difficult understanding of the full scope of design and construction issues of a turn key project.
Her experience includes Themed Environments, Entertainment Venues, Hospitality, Retail, Commercial, Transportation, Civic, Medical, Educational and Multi-Family Residential. She has contributed to of some of the most prestigious Architecture and Engineering teams in the United States including: Ellerbe Becket & Associates, HNTB Architecture & Engineering, and Gensler & Associates.
Her Bachelor of Architecture degree from California State University, Pomona, included International studies in France, at the Sorbonne University of Paris; In Italy, at the Poly-Technical University of Milan; In Greece at the Poly-Technical University of Athens; and in Mexico at the Ibero American University in Mexico City.
Thelma serves in the Program Committee of ULI Orange County (Urban Land Institute) and is an active member of TEA (Theming and Entertainment Association) and AIA (American Institute of Architects). She also donates her time and talent to helping the community through organizations such as HomeAid, The Orange County Rescue Mission, Kidworks, The Susan Komen Foundation, The Lupus Foundation, as a member of the Nominating Committee of GSOC, (Girl Scouts, Orange County), and as a Board Member of Wise Place in Orange County.
